Trustee Positions

Chief Executive - Steve Allen

Responsible to the members for the Overall day to day Management of the Station, key role as line manager for the Executive Committee and Co-opted post holders, Additional responsibilities include liaising with the NHS Trust and Health community, be the main contact for all external organisations.

Deputy Chief Executive - Lesley Jennings

Responsible to the Chief Executive (and to assume the role of Chief Executive in his / her absence) to act as second point of contact for external organisations and the NHS trust, to chair of all sub committees of the station (excluding the Way Forward Document and RSL).  Key responsibilities are for training and recruitment of new members.

Programme Controller - Matthew Wilson

Responsible to Chief Executive for the live output of the radio station,  including music content, features, competitions and standard of programmes, to be responsible for arranging holiday and sickness cover for on air programmes, developing a varied dynamic programme schedule. To act up as the Deputy Chief Executive when they are in turn acting up as Chief Executive)

Committee Member - Sybil Fowler

Responsible to the Chief Executive for assisting other key post holder with duties as required from time to time key responsibility to oversee the marketing and pr of the station both to external and internal clients. to be responsible for the organisation of social events on behalf of the station.

Co-opted Positions

Webmaster and Production - Neil Bailey

Responsible to the Chief Executive for the Development, maintenance and promotion of the website and email facilities. key responsibility to produce audio packages for on air use in consultation with the programme controller and when required the committee member in relation to show sponsorship messages.

Policy & Admin Assistant - Jude Anderson

Responsible for the development and maintenance of Station Policies and Procedures in consultation with the Chief Executive and to act as Station Administration Assistant.

Project Manager - Steve Tarbet

Responsible to the Chief Executive for developing the plans for Rookwood Sound in conjunction with the document 'The Way Forward'

Finance Officer - Jan Holmes-Warley

Responsible to the Chief Executive for financial management of the station including subscriptions and show sponsorship. To advise the trustees and indirectly the members on all matters financial. to produce financial reports and is responsible for producing the station accounts at the end of the financial year.

Production Assistant - Gavin Wilson

To assist the webmaster to produce audio packages for on air use in consultation with the programme controller and when required the committee member in relation to show sponsorship messages. Non-committee member.

At the last AGM in March 2008, the committee was voted by the members and is made up of the members above, with the position of Station Engineer as vacant. The Station Engineer is responsible to the Chief Executive for the maintenance of all equipment, maintenance scheduling, and routine upgrades to equipment.  To advise the Executive committee on purchase / hire of broadcast equipment as required.  This Post is currently vacant and is a Trustee Position
