Saturday 24th September between 10am and 6pm all we played was your requests! On the day we had some special programmes broadcasting from the Central Square at Llandough Hospital.

Charlie Brown, Neil Bailey, Richard Baxter, Steve Rees and Steve Allen presented over the duration of the day, with Lesley Jennings, Sarah Pound, and Debbie Brown tendering to our lucky tombola stall!   Back at base we had fantastic support from Richard Davies and Matthew Morrissey who were behind all of the controls and our unsung hero (whose just managed to escape from the record library) Edward Fish who was finding all the tracks you were asking for! Not forgetting the man responsible for the day, Bryn Stone who made sure the day went without a hitch!

Thank you if you gave a request to one of our presenters and researchers who put a lot of time and effort into this event!

Below are some of the picture from the day! Click on the picture for a larger version

Steve Rees, Richard Baxter and Lesley Jennings playing Play Your Cards Right - Winner Steve Allen!

More fun with Lesley, we played 'The Price Is Right' with the chance to win a lovely green and blue water bottle by guessing how much it cost.  Guessing was a member of St. John's Ambulance.  Can you guess how much it cost?  Well it was only 50p! Lesley's Price is Always Right!

Debbie on the tombola with a customer Steve Allen turns the tables on Lesley.. and makes her try her own game of 'Play Your Cards Right'

More customers at the stall.. at some points through the day there was a huge queue with prizes from CD's, china dogs to Talc! Steve and Steve (Allen and Rees) presenting after 4pm

Richard Davies in control of the music back at the station Would you buy off this pair of Rogue Traders? Neil Bailey and Debbie Brown behind the tombola stall

Richard Davies reading a request live from the studio for one of the patients from Rookwood Hospital during Charlie Brown's part of the show Steve and Neil present the final link from Llandough ending a fantastic day of hits.. last track they played was Vanessa Amorosi - Absolutely Everybody
