Rookwood Sound Online first hit the world wide web back in 2002.

 At that time, Graham Allen was our webmaster and built the first website which you can see on the pictures opposite.

During 2004, Neil Bailey took over the website and still looks after our content to this day. 

During 2004, the website was relaunched with different design and colours to the one that Graham had developed in 2002. Also in 2004, we first published our annual report online in pdf format.

During 2004, we had several design changes of the website, and more information continually being added to our website.

Then in 2005, We celebrated picking up a bronze award at the hospital radio awards in Belfast, and celebrated our 18th Birthday! 

At this time we launched our photo galleries and for the first time, audio downloads of our awards entries!

By 2006, we had over 25,000 hits to out website, and were continuing to improve the service, look and feel to our listeners and supporters on the web.

In 2007, we began our successful members area where members of the station can share information and exchange news in our members forum. 

In 2008, we have been developing our successful format, making all pages standard with changes to the photo gallery, and the introduction of a Terms of Use policy. Recently we now post a members only news letter in the password protected area for the members.
